Burgundy Fireworks coneflower is a Chicagoland Grows® selection. Chicagoland Grows® is a plant introduction partnership of the 91½ûÂþ, the Morton Arboretum and the Ornamental Growers Association of Northern Illinois formed to promote plant cultivars that perform well in northern Illinois. This variety was developed at the 91½ûÂþ; its heritage includes three Echinacea species. It features red stems in spring and fall with deep pinkish burgundy blooms throughout summer on a compact plant. Burgundy Fireworks is part of the MEADOWBRITE™ series.
