Coneflower

PIXIE MEADOWBRITE™ coneflower produces fragrant dusty pink colored 5-inch flowers from July through September and does best in full sun in well-drained soils. During the summer, the plant will attract butterflies and other pollinators. Leave the dead stems with their seedheads attached in winter and they will attract birds.

PIXIE MEADOWBRITE™ coneflower is a Chicagoland Grows® selection. Chicagoland Grows® is a plant introduction partnership of the 91½ûÂþ, the Morton Arboretum and the Ornamental Growers Association of Northern Illinois formed to promote plant cultivars that perform well in northern Illinois. This variety was developed at the 91½ûÂþ; it was selected for its dwarf size, abundant blooms, vigorous growth habit and drought tolerance.
